In honor of Earth Day, the students completed a Robot Home Project! Their assignment was to create a Robot from recyclable materials. They used Erica Bohrer’s recording page to describe their Robot and the materials they used. The students worked on their Robots all week and then brought them to school to share. Mrs. Doggett’s class joined us in this activity and the students had so much fun sharing their Robots with not only their classmates, but Mrs. Doggett’s class as well. The students were SO very creative! They used materials such as bottle caps, tin foil, cereal boxes, soda cans, straws, and toilet paper rolls. There was even an “Octopus Robot” and a Robot that could shoot marshmallows!
