Franklin Facts & Wind Socks!

We loved learning about Benjamin Franklin! We read A Picture Book of Benjamin Franklin and we charted facts about his life. We then created a kite of “Franklin Facts.” The children loved this activity and enjoyed sharing their favorite facts with one another.

On the last day of our Benjamin Franklin unit, someone knocked on the door and left us a note. The note was signed by “Ben Franklin” and it said to meet him in the Media Center!

We also completed a unit on Weather. During this unit we learned all about the different types of weather and we kept a Weather Journal. One of our favorite activities was creating our own Wind Sock! After our Wind Socks were complete, we took them outside to see which way the wind was blowing!
